What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites visited by the user send to their device (usually to the browser), where they are stored to be sent back to the same sites on subsequent visits by the same user.
While browsing a website, users may also receive cookies from other sites or web servers (so-called “third-party cookies”). This happens because elements such as images, maps, sounds or specific links to web pages from other domains may be present on the visited site and stored on servers other than the one hosting the requested page. In other words, these are cookies that are set by a website other than the one currently being visited.
Which cookies do we use on this website?
The cookies we use are as follows:
•Essential cookies:
These are indispensable for the operation of the key functions of our website. These cookies do not collect user information for commercial purposes, nor do they store users’ internet browsing history.
• Analytical / performance cookies:
These allow us to recognise and count the number of visitors to our website and to see how they move around and use it. This helps us to improve the performance of our site (for example, ensuring that users can easily find the information they are looking for).
These cookies do not collect any information that can identify the user. All information collected is anonymous and used only to help us enhance the website’s functionality. For more information about different types of cookies, please visit: www.allaboutcookies.org
How can you control or delete cookies used on our website?
Each browser is automatically set to accept cookies. However, users can disable this function in their browser settings.
Please note that preventing us from placing cookies on your computer during your visit (including essential cookies), or deleting cookies after they have been set, may affect the functionality of our website and compromise your ability to use it effectively.
This applies to all websites, including ours, once cookies are disabled via browser settings.

Dear Customer, in accordance with Article 10 of Law No. 675/96 “Protection of persons and other subjects with regard to the processing of personal data” (hereinafter referred to as “the Law”), we wish to inform you as follows:
a) Data collection and purpose
The personal and identifying data you provide to “La Costa Pernottamenti” in connection with business relationships aimed at concluding contractual agreements, performing contractual services, or promotional activities — or otherwise acquired in the course of our business in compliance with current legislation and contractual obligations — are processed in accordance with the aforementioned Law and with the confidentiality obligations it establishes.
b) Definition of personal data processing
Under Article 1, paragraph 2, letter b) of the Law, “processing of personal data” means any operation or set of operations, carried out with or without the aid of electronic or automated means, concerning the collection, recording, organisation, storage, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, deletion, and distribution of data.

c) Purposes of processing
Data are processed for institutional purposes connected with or instrumental to the activities of our company, such as filing, processing, invoicing, and client management, and in particular:
1) To fulfil legal obligations under civil, fiscal, and accounting laws for the administrative management of the relationship you have established with our company;
2) To fulfil contractual obligations, provide technical support and information, and perform after-sales assistance.

2) To be informed about:
1. The name, company name, registered office or residence of the data controller;
2. The purposes and methods of processing;
3. The name and contact details of the data processor.
3) To obtain from the data controller:
1. Confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning them and communication of such data in an intelligible form;
2. Information about the logic and purposes of processing;
3. Deletion, anonymisation or blocking of unlawfully processed data, including data that need not be kept for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
4. Updating, rectification, or integration of data;
5. Certification that the operations referred to in points 3 and 4 have been communicated to those to whom the data have been disclosed, except where this proves impossible or involves disproportionate means relative to the right protected;

7. To object, wholly or partly, to the processing of personal data concerning them for commercial information, advertising, direct sales, market research or interactive commercial communication, and to be informed — at the latest when data are communicated or disclosed — of the possibility of exercising this right free of charge.
The data subject may authorise other persons or associations to exercise these rights on their behalf by written delegation or proxy. If you intend to provide personal data relating to third parties, please note that such data may only be communicated after obtaining the informed consent of the individuals concerned, in accordance with Articles 10 and 11 of Law 675/1996. In this case, you assume full responsibility for the truthfulness, completeness and lawfulness of the data provided, releasing “La Costa Pernottamenti” from any related liability.
